No. It addresses a regulatory framework. An independent inspection adds a practical reading for your purchase decision.
Does Car-Pass replace an inspection?
No. It mainly documents mileage history and administrative data, not the full mechanical and cosmetic condition.
Can the inspection happen without me?
Yes, if the seller provides access, documents and a safe road test.
Price and organisation
How is travel calculated?
The first 20 round-trip kilometres are included. Each additional kilometre is €0.48 excluding VAT; for individuals, VAT applies only to travel.
When is the price confirmed?
Category, travel, availability and final price are confirmed before payment.
When will I receive the report?
The web report is delivered within 48 hours after the inspection.
Scope and limitations
How many points are checked?
Depending on category and access, the inspection can cover up to 145 points.
Does the inspection guarantee no breakdown?
No. It describes observable condition and reduces uncertainty without guaranteeing the future.
Do you inspect classic cars?
Yes, on request. Scope depends on model, age, restoration and access.
